I'm having trouble getting my gmail account to work with outlook. The account seems to setup fine and start downloading all my messages (>40,000 messages now on gmail). Outlook hangs before finishing, and then repeatedly tries to download over and over, gets stuck and tries again. Outlook had downloaded >50gb according to the Activity Monitor on the session I started tracking, before I deleted the account for outlook, then things went back to normal. I'm now back to using Apple Mail. Some applications (like Google Chrome) will not use the last used preset, but will use the default preset.
